HELPING ST. LOUIS CORGIS...

Pet's Second Chance, Inc. was founded in 2000 by Linda Moore as a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Located in St. Louis, Missouri, our dedication is to the many Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis or Corgi mixes who have been abandoned by their owners due to divorce, moving, birth of children, and the many other reasons that families may no longer be able to keep their Corgi. We will accept all Corgis regardless of age or physical condition.

Trivia Night

What was challenging, exciting, and successful? If you guessed PSC's 2012 Annual Triva Night, you're right. A big "thank you" for all who spent the evening with us in support of the Corgis. We also appreciated the silent auction donations as well as our sponsors. And, of course, thanks to all of the volunteers who gave of their time and energy. We hope to see everyone at our next Trivia Night later this year for more friendship and laughter. Not to mention, a wee bit of competition. The 2013 Trivia Night will again be in October. Stayed tuned for more information.

2013 Herding Instinct Day

That's Toby in the photos above. Toby is a red and white Welsh Pembroke Corgi adopted by Andrew Johnson in February of 2006. Toby turned 11 years old this past July. Although the boy still loves herding his sheep, he’s a bit slower now. They never lose the instinct.

Stay tuned for information on our 2013 Herding Instinct Day. All herding breeds welcome. We'll have hot chocolate for all two-legged friends. Meet us at Purina Farm in Gray Summit, Missouri. We hope to have the 2013 date finalized soon.

Corgis will be handled and evaluated by members of the St. Louis Herding Club. Your Corgi couch potato might surprise you. The herding instinct runs deep in this breed, and your little one may decide to work those sheep. Join us for a fun-filled day with your dog.
